Listening 2 U is proud to introduce our Beating Burnout – Reclaiming Energy and Focus training, a powerful 4-hour, evidence-informed workshop designed to help individuals and professionals recognise, prevent, and recover from burnout.


In today’s demanding world, many high-achieving professionals, caregivers, and leaders experience exhaustion, overwhelm, and disengagement without realising that burnout is at the root. This interactive session goes beyond surface-level advice to explore the emotional, psychological, and organisational factors contributing to burnout, using the World Health Organisation’s definition as its foundation.

Throughout the workshop, participants engage in a mix of reflective exercises, self-assessments, and group discussions. Activities such as the Burnout Inventory, Energy Audit, and Values Alignment Worksheet promote self-awareness, while boundary-setting roleplays and Stop–Start–Continue journaling help translate learning into real-life change.

The training is structured around four essential pillars of burnout resilience:
  • Boundaries – Learning to protect time and energy
  • Rest – Building restorative habits into daily life
  • Autonomy – Regaining control and purpose
  • Connection – Re-engaging meaningfully with others

Guided breathing, short visualisations, and moments of stillness are woven throughout, modelling restorative practicesparticipants can use beyond the session.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will leave with a personalised burnout recovery plan, practical self-care strategies, and a renewed sense of clarity, balance, and focus.
