Do you supervise counselling students?
Yes. We offer supportive and developmental supervision for counselling students throughout their training journey. To meet with the BACP guidelines the 90 Min supervision can be split to two 45 min sessions.
How much supervision do I need?
The amount of supervision required depends on factors such as your professional body requirements, level of experience, and client workload.
Do you offer online supervision?
Yes. Supervision is available face-to-face in Lincoln, online, and by telephone.
How long are supervision sessions?
The length and frequency of supervision sessions will depend on your professional role, level of experience, and the requirements of your professional body if your a counsellor to student counsellor.
For qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, supervision sessions are typically 90 minutes in duration.
For counselling students, supervision is usually provided as two 45-minute sessions per month, helping to meet the requirements of professional bodies such as the BACP while offering regular opportunities for reflection and support.
For professionals working in other helping, caring, educational, healthcare, or leadership roles, supervision sessions are typically 60 minutes in duration, although arrangements can be tailored to meet individual and organisational needs.
