Do you need Schools, Colleges and University counselling?

Picture

Educational counselling provides confidential support for students facing personal, academic, emotional, or social challenges. Whether you're dealing with exam stress, relationship issues, or struggling with low self-esteem, counselling offers a safe, supportive space to talk and be heard.

In schools, colleges, and universities, counselling can help with:
  • Academic pressure and stress
  • Friendship and relationship difficulties
  • Anxiety, depression, and low mood
  • Confidence and self-esteem concerns
  • Identity, transitions, and future planning
  • Managing change or dealing with loss

Sessions are conducted by a qualified, professionally supervised counsellor in a confidential, non-judgemental setting. Counselling supports individuals in understanding their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours—helping them develop healthier coping strategies and make meaningful, positive changes.

What to Expect in a Counselling Session
Each counselling session lasts approximately 50 minutes. The counsellor's role is not to give advice, tell you what to do, or offer ready-made solutions—but rather to listen with empathy, support you, and help you explore your thoughts and feelings so that you can find your own answers.

Sessions are private and confidential, providing a safe, non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and honestly. Confidentiality will only be broken in exceptional circumstances, which your counsellor will explain clearly at the outset.

The counselling room is a dedicated space, free from the distractions and demands of everyday life. The 50 minutes you spend there is your time—and the time between sessions is an opportunity for reflection and personal growth.
