Picture
Supporting employee wellbeing is not just about responding to problems when they arise, it's about creating a healthier, more resilient workforce.

At Listening 2 U, we provide confidential workplace counselling that goes beyond the limitations of traditional Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs). Our service offers employees access to experienced, professionally supervised counsellors who provide meaningful therapeutic support in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental environment.

Costs
We recognise that every organisation is different, which is why we offer flexible workplace counselling packages tailored to your specific needs, workforce size, and budget.

Whether you are looking to provide counselling for individual employees, establish an ongoing wellbeing programme, support staff following a critical incident, or complement your existing wellbeing provision, we can work with you to create a solution that meets the needs of both your organisation and your employees.

Our aim is to provide accessible, high-quality support that delivers real value to your workforce while promoting wellbeing, resilience, and a positive workplace culture.

Employees may seek counselling for a wide range of personal or work-related challenges, including stress, anxiety, burnout, workplace conflict, bereavement, relationship difficulties, trauma, low mood, and life transitions. Through counselling, individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, develop greater self-awareness, and identify positive ways of managing challenges both inside and outside of work.

Unlike many EAP services that are limited to a small number of sessions or telephone-based support, Listening 2 U can provide flexible, ongoing counselling tailored to the needs of both the employee and the organisation. We believe that effective support comes through building a trusted therapeutic relationship, allowing employees the time and space they need to create meaningful and lasting change.

By investing in workplace counselling, organisations can help improve employee wellbeing, increase engagement, reduce sickness absence, strengthen resilience, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to the people who make their organisation successful.

Our aim is to make support as accessible as possible, helping employees access the right support in a way that feels comfortable and convenient for them.

What Employees Can Expect from Counselling

Workplace counselling sessions typically last approximately 50 minutes and provide employees with a safe, confidential, and supportive space to discuss any personal or work-related challenges they may be experiencing.

The counsellor's role is not to give advice, tell employees what to do, or provide ready-made solutions. Instead, they offer professional support, empathy, and understanding, helping individuals explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences so they can gain greater insight, develop coping strategies, and find their own way forward.

All counselling sessions are confidential and conducted within professional ethical guidelines. Information shared during counselling will not be disclosed to employers unless there are exceptional circumstances relating to safety or safeguarding, which will be explained clearly at the outset.

Counselling provides dedicated time away from the pressures of work and everyday life, allowing employees the opportunity to reflect, process challenges, and focus on their wellbeing. The time between sessions is often equally valuable, giving individuals space to consider new perspectives, build resilience, and make positive changes that can benefit both their personal and professional lives.

By supporting employees through counselling, organisations demonstrate a genuine commitment to wellbeing, helping to create healthier, more engaged, and resilient workplaces.
